Ja Rule To Be Released From Prison On July 28th

According to Associated Press Ja Rule will be released from prison on July 28th. Ja Rule is currently incarcerated in the Broolyn Metropolitan Detention Center for prisoners awaiting court dates or prisoners serving out a short term of the rest of their sentences. 

Ja Rule was initially arrested in 2007 on a gun charge outside of New York's Beacon Theater.  He began serving a two year sentence in June 2011 and as of late a Judge revealed that he could be serving another sentence for tax evasion.  recently his lawyer said that he was excited to be released from prison so he can pay The Government the 1.1 million dollars he owes.

"Many people are looking forward to experiencing his talent again" says defense attorney Stacy Richman.  She also added that he is very exited to see his daughter's gradualtion. "He's a good father" says Richman.
